Spooky Spirits: Puzzle Drop!! coming to iPhone and iPod Touch

Spooky Spirits: Puzzle Drop!!

This holiday season will witness a new spooky game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Legendo Entertainment and Innogiant are all set to bring the Spooky Spirits: Puzzle Drop!! to woo puzzle fanatics as well as casual players.

The original falling-block puzzle game alongside horrendous spirits makes it all the more adventurous. Touch controls offered while gameplay add to the fun. Well, Becky and Tim lose their Spookies and fear being abandoned from their spirit warden jobs. In search of these irksome ghosts (to save their jobs), the duo has to visit several haunted places on Earth including the Sphinx of Egypt and a Haunted House in England.

Jani Nurminen, Lead Engineer at Innogiant said, “We’ve had a lot of fun reworking Spooky Spirits into a pocket version, even though it’s been a little scary at times as we’ve spent many nights in the dark, optimizing the original code so that it takes full advantage of the iPhone and iPod Touch.”

Bjorn Larsson, Executive Producer at Legendo Entertainment, noted, “Innogiant managed to include every single Spookie from the original game! There must be at least half a million of them hiding in there now — an amazing feat for a nifty little device such as the iPhone! If everyone helps catching the Spookies, we can make the world a better place by stopping them from haunting innocent people.”

This game brings a unique twist to the classic falling block and “match-2” gameplay format. Players can expand stacks of Spookies in any direction while offering three amazing modes- Panic, Puzzle and Eternity.

In the Panic Mode, players need to capture maximum amount of Spookies before the screen crams up with these spirits. Using a limited number of blocks in the Puzzle Mode, players need to outwit Spookies while Eternity Mode has been inspired by Tetris exhaust mode that goes on till the player reaches a maximum score of 9,999,999 points.

The Spooky Spirits: Puzzle Drop!! will ring in Christmas bells at the Apple App Store.
