DotEmu, a start-up specialized in bringing classic video games to new devices, has announced the launch of a 90’s classic puzzle games, dubbed Nicky Boom in the smartphone segment. With puzzling adventure, handset users can relish Nick’s life.
DotEmu has signed an agreement with Microïds, game publisher and producer, to rejuvenate the life of the charming little boy with red cheeks and a tubby belly on the mobile phone screen.
“We are really pleased to be able to give a new life to this platform/puzzle game which will remind some of us of childhood memories. The original game has been faithfully adapted, while ensuring optimal gameplay for mobile phones. We are willing to seduce the nostalgics, but also casual gamers,†noted Xavier Liard, DotEmu CEO.
Enter the game and help Nicky Boom to save his grandfather from the evil witch – Zoldrane. She has kept the grandfather in a dark dungeon to get the secrets of the forest tribe, which he is the guardian of. She has revamped the peaceful inhabitants of the woods into monsters. In this journey, you will come across lots of hurdles and you have to give your best in getting over the traps, exploring hidden passages, conquering monsters, while exploding everything.
During traveling around, you also have to take advantage of teleporters, find springs or shields to strengthen your skills. If it is difficult task to combat obstacles, please remember to pick up some life concoctions.
