Reliance and CanvasM unveil Multiplayer Mobile Gaming in India

Reliance and CanvasM logo Reliance Communications has announced their partnership with CanvasM Technologies, a joint venture between Motorola and Tech Mahindra, to launch multiplayer mobile games for its Indian users. CanavasM will offer a wide range of international and domestic multiplayer games to Reliance.

With a debut in the mobile gaming industry, Reliance allows the gaming community to come together and network or challenge each other while playing interesting games. Gamers can play with other mobile or PC gamers, provided they are playing the same game.

Moreover, Reliance subscribers can also enjoy other interactive features that include lobby chat, messenger chat, game chat, score posting and profile as well as invite others to play the game.

“Mobile gaming is definitely a fast growing sector and is expected to catch up with the developed markets. Reliance’s launch of multiplayer mobile games is another step in this direction, and we are quite confident that it will generate a huge interest from our mobile customers, especially the gaming audience,” according to Mahesh Prasad, president, applications, solutions and content group, Reliance Communications.

If you want to download the multiplayer mobile game, you need to access Reliance Mobile World>Games>Multiplayer Games. Advertisers can also make their specific buddy lists, chat with gamers, gauge their moods and send tailored promotional messages, in the multiplayer game.

Jagdish Mitra, CEO, CanvasM Technologies, mentioned, “CanvasM is keen to get some of the new technologies to India and are very pleased to work with Reliance Communications who has taken this pioneering initiative to do so.”

CanvasM’s multi-player gaming platform includes a catalogue of 15 cross-media games along with provisions for developing content.

Multiplayer Mobile Game costs Rs 99 per month. It offers a pack of three game for downloading with unlimited plays for a month.
