Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ), has announced to release the same old PlayStation 3 console in a whole new look. Japanese gamers will now get a Satin Silver colored PS3.
However, the 40GB model of the PS3 is the only one which will be available in the new color and will be shipped from March 6th, 2008. Also the DualShock3 Wireless Controller will now be available in a new sliver color.
This is the third time that the PS3 has been introduced in a new color. Earlier it was launched in Clear Black and Ceramic White colors.
The new silver colored PS3 console will carry the price tag of 39,980 yen (around Rs. 14,680) while the DualShock 3 Wireless Controller can be purchased separately at 5,500 yen (approx Rs. 2,020).
