Packard Bell has gone out of its way to announce its latest Viseo 200T Touch Edition monitor. The highlight of this touchscreen monitor is its multi-gesture reorganization capability. This announcement from the company comes on the heels of the launch of the Butterfly S FC laptop in Europe.

According to Engadget, this 20-inch monitor features built-in speakers that promise to provide crystal clear sound. Featuring a 5ms response time, the monitor claims to respond immediately. The monitor also features a 16:9 aspect ratio and 50,000:1 contrast ratio which are said to enhance the quality of images.

The connectivity options of this monitor include VGA and DVI ports. Apparently, this multi-gesture monitor allows users to control the computer with pinches and swipes across the screen. The company has not mentioned the total resolution supported by this device. The other attributes of this device are also under wraps.

The company is planning to initially release the Packard Bell Viseo 200T Touch Edition monitor in England by mid-October. The monitor is expected to retail for around £200 (approx. Rs. 16,160). It will also offer support for Windows 7 multitouch operating system.
