Interead Cooler eReader

Users on a draining search for an exquisite yet topflight performance e-reader may find this news more-like a soothing sight for sore eyes. Breaking users into a gleaming smile, Interead has recently taken the mask off its COOL-ER 3G e-reader with AT&T 3G mobile broadband service.

The company is all girded up for releasing its next generation of connected COOL-ER e-readers, including Wi-Fi and 3G models. The existing model COOL-ER, first launched across the global in May, 2009, works in every language and brandishes in eight snappy colors. It supports books written in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Russian, Japanese and Traditional and Simplified Chinese. Weighing in at merely 5.5 ounces, the eye-catching device endures books in all of the most commonly used e-book formats. QVC will start selling the e-reader on Friday, December 11.

“We have been overwhelmed by the positive reaction to the COOL-ER and the COOLER-eBooks.com bookstore. In selecting providers, we have actively sought those who share our vision and commitment to an ideal reader experience, and we’re thrilled to team with AT&T to deliver content over the nation’s fastest 3G network,” stated Neil Jones, Interead’s CEO.

Further, Interead also proclaimed its collaboration with NewspaperDirect for making more than 1,300 newspapers and magazines available to COOL-ER e-readers through the existing model and forthcoming 3G and Wi-Fi models.

The new COOL-ER e-readers are scheduled for release in mid-2010.
