Epson PowerLite 410W Short-Throw, Widescreen Projector Unveiled

Epson PowerLite 410W Projector Aimed at consumers who seek for large-scale projection at small spaces, Epson has announced the launch of its latest interactive whiteboard projection solution, called the PowerLite 410W projector.

Successor of the PowerLite 400W, the new short-throw, widescreen projector features shorter throw lens and an enhanced brightness, addressing K-12 school’s requirements. It has the ability to offer a native WXGA resolution of 1280x800pixels, ensuring a 60-inch 16:10 image projection from two feet away.

Users can utilize the wall mounting option for added flexibility, offering more space to students and teachers in smaller classrooms. It claims to considerably decrease shadows of presenters. The ability to mount without having to run wires and power up to the ceiling is appreciable.

Additionally, it provides 2,000 lumens white light output and 2,000 lumens color light output, delivering brilliant and vibrant image quality without excessive glare. It comes bundled with a powerful internal 10-watt speaker and a built-in closed captioning decoder for easy access to presentations to viewers who have difficulties in hearing impairments.

Moreover, the PowerLite 410W features Epson’s exclusive E-TORL lamp technology for more lumens (brightness) per watt, Epson 3LCD Technology for amazing color and detailed presentations, RJ-45 wired LAN connectivity for remote monitoring and control, 1.35x digital zoom and +/-15 degree vertical keystone correction that ensures immediate set-up.

With direct power on/off option, the latest Epson projector for interactive whiteboards solutions assures remote-free power control on installed units. Plus, the inclusion of eight versatile presentation modes offers an array of presentation choices that suits the best with the environment.

The Epson PowerLite 410W projector is scheduled to hit the shelves by the end of April 2009 with a price tag of $1,299 (approx. Rs. 66,084). It will be available through national resellers, pro audio/visual dealers, mail order and distribution.
