LG TV with Trumotion 480Hz Display Panel to Launch at CES

LG Trumotion 480Hz LCD TV LG is now on Cloud No. 9 as the company is in full swing to unveil its latest innovation in display panels at CES 2009.

Yesterday, we had reported that the LG LH95 LED LCD TV will debut at CES. Now, the news has rolled over the web stating that LG Display is all set to raise the curtains of the newly developed Trumotion 480-Hz LCD TV panel at the show.

According to the company, the LCD display panel works on the Trumotion 480Hz that uses scanning backlight technology to eliminate the blur and display fast-moving images at 4 milliseconds response time with exceptional 480 refresh rate per second.

The included scanning backlight technology has the ability to repeatedly turn on/off a backlight on an LCD panel, resulting in reduction in blurring.

Promising to offer higher contrast between dark and light images, the latest TV from LG boasts to display crystal-clear and more vivid pictures.

LG Trumotion TV is expected to start shipping in the Q2 of 2009. However, there is no word on the pricing.
