Samsung 2263DX LCD Monitor boasts Dual Display

Samsung 2263DX LCD Monitor Samsung has worked with DisplayLink, a network display chip and software company, to incorporate a dual multimedia display on a LCD monitor. Known as Samsung 2263DX, the LCD monitor has a 22-inches main screen and 7-inches small LCD display too.

Claiming to be an award-winning dual multimedia LCD display, the innovative monitor expects users to utilize the 22-inches screen as the primary display, while the 7-inches screen is integrated to allow multi-tasking. Users can enjoy secondary applications and programs that include an instant messenger, movie/music player, web browser, photos, or widgets. The interesting point is that this can be experienced without distracting from the main work display.

Thanks to the USB (UbiSync) connection of the 7” screen, the monitor allows easy setup. It is not necessary that you always place the mini monitor on the top of the main monitor; you can even place it on either side by using the articulating arm.
The 22-inch screen offers 1680×1050 resolutions, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 1000:1 contrast ratio. The 7-inch screen offers a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 200 cd/m2 of brightness, 30ms response time and 400:1 contrast ratio. The 2263DX has a 3 megapixel integrated camera for video conferencing, D-Sub, HDMI and DVI-D.
