The lineup of six Panasonic 1MOS HD camcorders has been unveiled at the ongoing CES 2012. Powerful zoom, wide angle lenses and image stabilizers are some of the key factors pertaining to the range that consists of models HC-V700, HC-V700M, HC-V500, HC-V500M, HC-V100 and HC-V100M.
The Panasonic HC-V700 and HC-V700M camcorders are deployed with high sensitivity sensors to facilitate capturing clear images in poor lighting conditions. Both these devices are fitted with 460K dot multi-touch LCD displays and are compatible with 3D conversion lenses, which allow capturing textured 3D pictures. Additionally, the 2D to 3D conversion function can be used to convert 2D images into 3D without the help of lenses.
The compact Panasonic HC-V500 and HC-V500M variants featuring a simple user interface, come with the advanced highlight playback function. It utilizes the Intelligent Index System to detect various aspects in images as ‘highlights’ and plays them back with effects like slow, flash playback and fading still image. This feature is also included in the aforementioned cameras.

Measuring about 2.03 x 2.34 x 4.43 inches, the HC-V100 and HC-V100M sport extremely small form factors that add to their portability factor. The lightweight shooters make for good travel companions due to attributes such as low power consumption and capabilities to record continuously for about 155 minutes in full HD.
Besides the above mentioned features, all camcorders are integrated with ultra-telephoto in addition to the wide angle lenses. Image stabilizer, hybrid correction feature and iA mode are some other attributes of these devices. While all these cameras are embedded with a microSD card slot, the HC-V700M, HC-V500M and HC-V100M models are bestowed with 16GB internal memory.
