Samsung HMX-H300 Camcorder

The 65x zoom lens capability was recently included in the SMX-F50 camcorder series by Samsung. The company has now launched its new HMX-H300 camcorder series with an easy-to-use interface for recording all favorite moments. Tagged along with multiple intelligent features, the 5.1 megapixel devices allow seamless usage with prolonged battery life.

With a battery life of up to three hours thanks to the 2100mAh battery and built-in USB charging, the HMX-H300 portfolio delivers stable videos in a 1920 x 1080 60i resolution. These models have been enhanced with 30x optical zoom and 300x digital zoom capabilities, while the optical image stabilization ensures further clarity. The camcorders are bundled with numerous functions like face detection, smart auto and an innovative record pause attribute which enables continuous recording even between intervals.

Sporting a 5 megapixel 1/4” BSI CMOS sensor, the camcorders tout to be twice as sensitive as a regular CMOS sensor. Also, the 3” LCD touchscreen displays crystal clear images and videos for understanding natural color and clear detail. If used as a digital camera, users can capture 4.9 megapixel still images. Other major highlights of the devices subsume time lapse recording, Magic Finger Touch/Shot, Intelli-Studio 2.0, tripod screw, 32GB built-in memory, Schneider Kreuznach Varioplan HD lens, a USB connection and an HDMI interface.

Dressed in black, red and silver colors, the HMX-H300, H303/304 and H305 will be available in February for $399 (approx Rs. 18,100), $499 (approx Rs. 22,630) and $599 (approx Rs. 27,200), respectively.
