Samsung outs SMX-F50 camcorder series featuring 65x zoom lens capability

Professional videographers or those who like to capture movies of their special moments can now rely on this offering. Samsung Electronics has recently announced its new SMX-F50 camcorder series with 65x zoom lens capability. Compact in size, these models are incorporated with high-end features like SD memory and Smart Background Music.

The F50, F53 and F54 flaunt a whopping 65x zoom technology with additional pixel ability for allowing to reach closer to the subjects. With continuous recording time of 6 hours and 20 minutes, these variants are also capable of producing H.264 high quality formatted videos. The USB connection ensures further flexibility for transfers, while other storage options also include SD memory card support. Owners can view the captured imagery and movies on the 2.7” 230K LCD screen. Astutely, the Smart BGM characteristic automatically decreases the music volume when speech is detected in a video.

While recording an entire day’s events or occasions like a marriage ceremony, users can utilize the record pause technology which allows video recording in intervals. The SMX-F50 series includes auto focus, face detection, smart auto, time lapse recording, smart playback, Intelli-Studio 2.0, storyboard printing, one touch sharing button, and tripod screw. Decked in black, silver, red and blue, these models employ F1.8 Schneider Kreuznach Varioplan lens, 52x optical zoom, 65x Intelli-Zoom and 1200x digital zoom.

The F50, F53 and F54 are anticipated to be available beginning February for $199 (approx Rs. 9,000), $249 (approx Rs. 11,300) and $299 (approx Rs. 13,600), respectively.
