Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX700 camera brings advanced functions to the forefront

It seems like Panasonic is on a roll when it comes to unveiling digital cameras packed with many exciting features. A little while earlier the company brought forth the Lumix DMC-TS10 offered at an affordable price tag. Now photograph enthusiasts can take complete advantage of yet another product in the array dubbed as the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX700 camera. The new camera has the ability to record 1080 full HD videos in the AVCHD format.

The 14.1 megapixel digital camera comprises of a 3 inch touchscreen 230,000-dot LCD, 24mm ultra wide-angle F2.2 super bright Leica DC Vario-Summicron lens with a 5x optical zoom. Users can capture pictures and videos in low-light conditions as well as subjects on the go. The FX700 boasts of full touch-screen operation and includes Auto Focus tracking function, Intelligent Scene Selector and one-touch control for menus settings.

The Lumix DMC-FX700 comes complete with an advanced 24mm ultra-wide-angle lens and can also record HD video in the AVCHD format. It also has the ability to record in 1920 x 1080 full HD with Intelligent Resolution technology and better picture quality. The camera includes Dolby Digital Stereo Creator as well as 5x optical zoom while recording.

Panasonic offers users iA mode with motion deblur mode, brightness control, power O.I.S, Intelligent burst mode, face recognition, face detection, AF tracking, intelligent scene selector, intelligent ISO control and intelligent exposure. Advanced signal processing capabilities is acquired with the inclusion of the new Venus Engine FHD image processor. Other features include Handheld Night Shot and extended battery life of up to 300 shots per charge.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX700 camera is expected to enter by late August dressed in a black hue. The company tags the product at $399.95 (approx. Rs. 18,862).
