Ricoh offers CX3 digital camera

It’s been the third straight week in a row that tech world has been heavily inundated with digital camera news. After the CX1 and CX2, Ricoh has brought out a brand new digital camera dubbed the CX3. This fresh release may seem follow a bit too early on the heels of the CX2 launch for those already own the latter.

The 10MP camera renders 10.7 x optical zoom and a 28mm to 300mm focal range. It comes with a back-illuminated CMOS sensor and integrates the Smooth Imaging Engine IV. Macro shooting is enabled from distances as close as 1cm and its chassis shows off a 3” 9,20,000-dot LCD screen.

The CX3 supports HD quality video capture in 1280 x 720p resolutions at 30fps, with high-speed continuous shooting enabled at 5fps for 10MP images. This 29.4mm compact device permits AE and AF target shift functions as also four bracketing options namely, Auto, Color, White balance and Focus bracketing.

Other attributed features of Ricoh’s latest offering comprise of image file flagging, in-camera image editing, Face-Priority AF, grid guide display, shooting information display frame, customization of settings and much more. The CX3 is anticipated to be released with a price tag similar to its predecessors’ though the availability details have not yet emerged.
