Panasonic SDR-S15 and SDR-SW21 Camcorders

Panasonic unveils two new camcorders, dubbed the SDR-S15 and SDR-SW21, which feature the ability to record the video (at 0.6 second) to SD/SDHC Memory Cards. Besides, users can even copy the videos from the memory card to the DVD with an optional VW-BN1 DVD burner.

Designed for active and on-the-go users, the lightweight and compact SDR-SW21 camcorder possesses a tough body that allows it to be shockproof enough to sustain a 4-foot drop and dustproof to protect against particles such as dirt, sand, and dust. It is also waterproof up under 6.5 feet water.

It is available in lime green, orange and silver color tones.

While, the stylish SDR-S15 sports the company’s signature Intelligent Auto (iA) technology with Face Detection and Intelligent Scene Selector. It will be available in black, silver and chocolate hues.

Both the stylish camcorders are bundled with the VideoCam Suite that automatically start up making it possible to seamlessly upload videos that are correctly formatted for video websites for sharing, such as YouTube.

Scheduled to reach the market in April 2009, the SDR-SW21 and SDR-S15 will retail for 399.95 (approx. Rs. 19,615) and $299.95 (approx. Rs. 14,707), respectively.
