Nikon D5000 DSLR Camera with 450 Degree Rotating LCD Screen Hits India

Nikon D5000 DLSR Camera Nikon India makes another appearance in the market with the world’s first DSLR camera that is outfitted with a 450-degree rotating LCD screen. Called the Nikon D5000, the digital video shooter that had made its presence last month is now all set to release in the Indian market to leverage the photographic skills.

Pre-loaded with high-end features in a compact and lightweight model, it enables users to record in studio, on location or indoors with equal ease.

Equipped with a 12.3 megapixel of resolution, the digital SLR/HD video camera flaunts off a unique 6.8cms Vari-angle LCD monitor that enables users to either view the captured video/images in a normal position or swing for other screening angle. With the help of the four Live View autofocus shooting modes, users can effectively enjoy the freedom of movement and simultaneously utilize imaginative angles while viewing or shooting. There’s also the D-Movie mode and extended automatic Scene modes to further enhance the shooting capability.

The features of the D5000 DSLR camera are Nikon’s DX-format CMOS sensor, high extended ISO sensitivity, picture control, active D-Lighting, GPS geo tagging, plug and play HDTV compatibility, in-camera Photo Retouching and the company’s Expeed image processing system.

The Nikon D5000 digital SLR camera is scheduled to reach the photographic enthusiasts by the end of May 2009 through Nikon Authorized dealers. Its estimated prices are Rs. 48,950 and Rs 55,950 (with a VR lens kit).
