Casio has announced the launch of its latest digital camera that packs in all the necessary features in a lightweight yet durable design. Called the EX-S5, the compact digital shooter measures 3.8†x 2.2†x .7†(W x H x T) and weighs only 5 ounces.
The entry-level photographic tool features an effective 10.1 megapixel camera, a 3x optical zoom lens for users to capture high resolution images and preview them on a widescreen 2.7-inch LCD monitor.
Moreover, the easy-to-operate camera has the ability to display shooting information in an operating panel on the right side of the screen. With this, users can rapidly change settings during the course of shooting.
Besides, images taken at high resolution can be printed and even cropped before printing. The other alternative to share images is to record and save video clips on YouTube via the included YouTube Capture Mode. Users can capture moving-images with an aspect ratio of 16:9 with just a press of an embedded movie button.
Coming to the customized screen function, the EX-S5 incorporates a variety of focus frames design such as a heart and a butterfly to make the photographic experience more lively and entertaining. Other than that, the menu displayed on the screen can be highlighted in either of the colors ranging from black, chocolate, cinnamon, rose, sky blue and olive green.
Expected to be available in March for $179.99 (approx. Rs. 9,320) the Casio EX-S5 digital camera is not restricted to only one hue, instead it shines in blue, black, silver, pink and purple.
