Casio debuts Stylish Exilim Zoom EX-Z29 Digital Camera at the PMA 2009

Casio America announces an elegant and stylish digital camera, dubbed the EX-Z29, expanding the very popular Exilim Zoom series of digital cameras. It will be showcased at the Photo Marketing Association International Convention and Tradeshow.

The portable digital shooter features a 10.1 megapixels of image resolution, a 3X optical zoom and user-friendly features. It also integrates a 1/2.5-inch square pixel CCD image sensor, Contrast Detection Auto Focus, Macro Mode, Pan Focus, Infinity Mode and Manual Focus.

Furthermore, the new addition to the Exilim Zoom line-up packs in the 23 Best Shot Modes and face detection technology to capture high quality photos without any setting adjustments. It even comes bundled with Anti-Shake DSP to reduce photo blur, Red Eye Reduction and Easy Mode with three easy menus like image size, flash and self timer.

In order to check whether images are captured clear and vivid, users can preview them on the 2.7-inch wide LCD display. They can store images and videos on the built-in 17.8 MB flash memory with support for SD and SDHC memory cards. It also comes with other functions like Key Customization, PictBridge, Video Output (NTSC/PAL).

The Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z29 digital camera is slated to reach the market by April with a price tag of $149.99 (approx. Rs. 7,780).
