Canon firmware update version 1.1.0 for the EOS Digital Rebel XTi Camera

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi Tokyo-based Canon has announced a second firmware update version 1.1.0 for the well-known DSLP camera, EOS Digital Rebel XTi a.ka. EOS 400D.

According to Canon, the latest firmware update offers an added support for the Media Transfer Protocol (MTP), which has greater expandability between the camera and computer till now.

Consumers, whose camera has firmware up to version 1.0.5, are capable of updating with this new firmware 1.1.0 version. This updated version also has the ability to recify errors in the Simplified Chinese menu screens.

The changes brought about by firmware version 1.0.5 were incredible. While using PictBridge, it can fix the printing of lens names.
