Acer intros Predator ASG7710-A41 gaming PC in Japan

Acer Predator ASG7710-A41 Gaming PC Acer has launched a new version of the Predator desktop gaming PC dubbed Acer Predator ASG7710-A41, reports Engadget. At present launched only in Japan, this PC missed the Transformers 2 release by a few weeks. Available with a bright orange color chassis, it surely looks like a lost transformer in CPU form. Apparently, the ASG7710-A41 is said to compete with the Alienware Area-51 ALX.

This desktop PC is complete package that bundles up Acer’s G15 keyboard and G9 mouse. The ASG7710-A41 comes equipped with Intel’s 3.06GHz Core i7-950 processor. To complement this processor, the desktop PC incorporates support for up to 12GB of DDR3 RAM. The twin Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 1GB video cards promise to provide an enhanced display.

The PC also incorporates Intel’s X58 Express chipset and Blue-ray drive. The 1TB SATA hard drive delivers a speed of 7,200rpm. The ports provided include eleven USB 2.0, two eSATA, four DVI-D outputs and two gigabit Ethernet. Apart from this, it also features a memory card reader.

All these feature are packed into Acer’s compact and stylish predator chassis. This chassis flaunts an articulated front panel. There is no official word on the release date for this PC. The Acer Predator ASG7710-A41 gaming PC will be priced at 2,59,800 Yen (approx. Rs. 1,31,427). There is no word about release outside Japan as yet.
