The important attribute of the new desktop PCs is the incorporation of the Intel Core i7 processors and the Intel X58 Express chipset. With its faster and intelligent multi-core technology, the processor helps the PC to offer an incredible computing experience.
Powered by 2.66Gz Intel Core i7-920 processor, the Gateway FX6800-01e gaming desktops packs in ATI Radeon HD4850 video card, 3 GB of DDR3 triple channel memory and 750 GB SATA II hard drive.
Fueled by 2.93GHz Intel Core i7-940 processor, the Gateway FX6800-05 gaming PC comes embedded with ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 Graphics with 2048MB Discrete video memory, 6 GB three channel memory, 1000 GB SATA II hard drive with 80 GB SSD.
Based on Windows Vista Home Premium operating system, both the FX series desktop PCs come equipped with 18X DVD+/-R/RW SuperMulti Drive with LabelFlash Technology, a 15-in-1 High Speed Digital Media Card Reader with Smart Copy Button, support for Blu-ray Disc optical drives, eight USB 2.0 Ports, a HDMI Connector v1.3 and a serial port.
The price of the Gateway FX6800-01e and Gateway FX6800-05 gaming PCs is $1,249 (approx. Rs. 62,265) and $2,999 (approx. Rs. 1,49,480), respectively.
