The much anticipated all-in-one desktop PC range from Asus has finally made its appearance on the product page of the company’s official website.
The Asus Eee Top ET1602 sports a touch panel that allows users to operate the device just as a regular desktop by simply applying direct pressure on the screen with their fingertips.
Supporting plug-and-play interface, the touch-optimized computing devices are said to be the perfect computer for novices as they incorporates user-friendly features such as an exclusive Easy Mode within Windows to easily access the commonly-used applications.
Running on Windows XP operating system, the ET16 series include a slim 15.6-inch LCD monitor (16:9), 1.6Ghz Atom CPU, Wi-Fi 802.11n connectivity for high-speed web browsing, 160 GB HDD, 1 GB RAM, integrated 1.3 megapixel web camera and microphone. In addition, the latest line up also comes with built-in with high fidelity speakers with SRS technology and ATI Mobility Radeon HD3450 graphics card to support graphically-intensive 3D applications.
The device also features Asus Tranquiller Technology that cools down the system even after running on 26 dB.
