Apacer Technology has unveiled its latest dual-channel memory module, named the DDR2-800MHz. This high-end device has a storage capacity of 4GB and has been developed for desktop PCs. It has the ability to offer high stability for dual-channel operation, at the same time it also provides high performance and high memory capacity.
It has a single-stick memory capacity of 2GB, which means that it requires 2 single sticks to store 4GB data. Conforming to the JEDEC standard, this module utilizes 1GB (128Mbx8) pin architecture, with cutting-edge 70nm process technology and FBGA chip packaging.
Moreover, the DDR2-800 delivers high frequency and low power consumption than memory modules with older production process technology. It provides a maximum bandwidth of 12.8GB per second (in dual-channel mode) with just 1.8v of the working voltage.
Developed for game play that requires memory-intensive game software, wherein memory capacity plays a major role for enhanced game performance. The company has used memory chips with same specification from the same supplier, and from the same batch, for 4GB (2GBx2) DDR2-800MHz memory module.
The specifications of Apacer 4GB (2GBx2) DDR2-800MHz Unbuffered DIMM include:
Apacer has packed the chip with dual-channel environment testing to ensure that the memory module will provide the best possible performance and stability in a dual-channel environment.
