Apple and EMI have teamed up to launch The Beatles limited edition Stereo USB stick. The Beatles digitally re-mastered catalogue on CD debuted on September 9 this year. Only 30,000 units of this limited edition USB stick will be made available from December onwards.
This limited edition drive is exquisitely crafted and shaped like an apple. The shiny green color of this drive surely holds the attention of many. The drive is embedded with the critically acclaimed re-mastered audio for The Beatles’ 14 stereo titles. It also incorporates the re-mastered CDs’ visual elements along with 13 mini-documentary films about the studio albums. These documentaries replicate the original UK album art, rare photos and expanded liner notes.
This limited edition drive comes with a pre-installed flash interface. The drive is fully compatible with PC as well as Mac operating systems. Moreover, the 16GB USB’s audio and visual contents will be provided in FLAC 44.1 Khz 24 bit and MP3 320 Kbps formats.
The Beatles limited edition USB stick from Apple and EMI will be made available from December 7 onwards. This stick can now be pre-ordered at the official Beatles store. However, in North America this drive will be made available a day later on December 8.
