Asus Maximus II GENE Motherboard introduced in India

Asus Maximus II GENE Motherboard Expanding the lauded ROG (Republic of Gamers) motherboards line-up, Asus unveils the Maximus II GENE motherboard in the Indian market.

Retaining ROG’s legendary capabilities, the latest motherboard offers stability, overclockability and flexibility. It is based on the Intel P45 Express chipset and is powered by the Intel Core 2 Extreme/Quad/Duo platform. It comes in the mATX form factor with dimensions of 9.6”x 9.6” (24.4cm x 24.4cm).

Touted to be the ultimate companion of gamers, case-modders and overclocking enthusiasts, it highlights functions such as MemOK! for a worriless memory upgrade experience, CPU Level Up to boost CPU performance and SupremeFX X-Fi for crisp audio and extremely realistic in-game sound effects.

Additional features include up to 16GB (4 x DIMM) dual channel memory, 2 x PCIe2.0 x16 slot, ATI CrossFireX multi-GPU support, Gigabit LAN, 7 x SATA 3.0 Gb/s, 1 x eSATA 3.0 Gb/s, 1 x UltraDMA 133, 12 x USB2.0 ports and five fan connectors.

It also comes embedded with Keyboard-TweakIt, Extreme Tweaker, iROG, Loadline Calibration, LCD Poster, EPU-6 Engine and Voltiminder LED. Besides, it is even compatible with softwares like Kaspersky anti-virus, Futuremark 3DMark06 Advanced Edition.

The Asus Maximus II Gene motherboard is expected to reach the Indian shores through Rashi Peripherals for a suggested price of Rs. 16,750 and a 3 year warranty.
