Asus offers the first graphic cards that use Voltage Tweak technology called as the EAH4890 series. Along with the SmartDoctor application, consumers can boost GPU voltages and hence improve performance by 15%. The graphics achieved with the Asus EAH4890 series take gaming graphics to a whole new level.

The Asus EAH4890/HTDI/1GD5 combines with Voltage Tweak technology and SmartDoctor. By doing so, the GPU voltages are uplifted from 1.312V to 1.4V. This also enables the performance of the memory clock to be raised from 3900MHz to 4600MHz and the GPU from 850MHz to 950MHz. This enhances 3DMark vantage extreme preset score of the EAH4890 from 4612 to 5300. According to Asus, a 15% speed improvement is noticed when compared to other boards.

The EAH4890 Top delivers an excellent gaming experience as it has an 8% improvement in performance and speed. The 3DMark vantage extreme preset score for the EAH4890 Top increased from 4612 to 4980. Performance of the device’s memory clock is enhanced from 3900MHz to 4000MHz and GPU from 850MHz to 900MHz.

He further said, “By launching the EAH 4890, Asus offers a unique Voltage Tweak technology which raises GPU voltages from 1.312V to 1.4V in Asus EAH4890/HTDI/1GD5, allowing GPU and memory clock performances to be boosted from 850MHz to 950MHz and 3900MHz to 4600MHz respectively.”

Without searching for an overclocking button or re-flashing the Bios, which risk damaging cards, the SmartDoctor application enhances the voltage and upgrade cards.

ATI Stream technology is also included in the EAH4890 series graphic cards. This uses the power of AMD graphics processors to upgrade video processing and graphics. The ATI Stream enables computing applications to work at a faster pace as well.

The price and availability of the EAH4890 series graphic cards are not known.
