Asus sets a new standard with its latest TV tuner dubbed as the Express TV Stick. This product consists of advanced quality digital and analog TV signal reception. Sporting loads of versatile utilities, this device lets customers watch TV while also accessing multimedia entertainment anytime, anywhere.
By attaching the TV Stick to the 2.0 USB port of any computer or laptop, the required software will automatically start installing. This software allows customers to record and view high-quality digital and analog TV programs. Asus claims that its TV stick is the world’s first hybrid TV tuner to include free memory with pre-installed software. The Express TV Stick has 4GB memory which allows the stick to be used as an ordinary flash drive for data transfers, program and file storage.
Customers can now catch all their favorite TV programs wherever they go with the Asus TV Stick. When the product is inserted into a USB slot, with the unique integrated Pop-Up TV technology, TV channels get displayed automatically. No need for any manually launched programs to tune those TV channels. The Stick from Asus can be compatible with systems that include Windows XP, Microsoft Vista Basic, Vista Ultimate and Vista Home Premium.
A Windows Vista Gadget tool from the Express TV Stick lets viewers watch and record TV programs straight onto their Windows Vista sidebar. A small window located to the right of the screen manifests for this purpose. The recording and viewing can be done even while customers are working or on the Internet. When needed, the video size can be enlarged to full-screen.
The Express TV Stick also known as the US2-400/PT/FM/AV/RC/FL comes inclusive with a remote control, DVB-T antenna, audio/video breakout cable, quick start guide and a support CD.
