Transcend has launched a 16 GB microSDHC and a P3 USB Card Reader in India. This combo kit claims easy transfer of data to and from a computer.

The key features of the 16GB microSDHC card include compatibility with the SD 2.0 standards, plug and play operations and Error Correcting Code to detect and correct transfer errors. This class 6 compatible card is only 10 percent of the size of a standard SD card and can be used with both SD and SDHC card slot. The card is compatible with Secure Digital Music Initiative (SDMI) portable devices and supports Content Protection for Recordable Media (CPRM). The card which complies with the RoHS specifications also allows In System Programming (ISP) and supports auto-standby, power-off and sleep modes.
