Verizon Wireless announces the immediate availability of its new CDM8975 Push to Talk handset. Sporting an industrial clamshell design, the phone offers effective, fast two-way communication and feature-rich wireless experience at an attractive price.
This Verizon Wireless CDM8975 phone offers its customers a Push to Talk service which leverages the company’s Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) Revision A (Rev. A) network. It supports VZ Navigator that offers audible turn-by-turn maps, directions and millions of data points.
The Web-enabled phone comes equipped with a 1.3 megapixel digital camera, video recording capabilities, Bluetooth technology, voice commands, voice activated dialing and a stereo speaker. You can also access Verizon Wireless’ V CAST Music with Rhapsody and V CAST Video services. Furthermore, the spec sheet also talks a dedicated Push to Talk and speakerphone button, Internal antenna and an optional microSD memory card up to 8 GB.
The Verizon Wireless CDM8975 handset is available for $99.99 after signing a two-year customer agreement and $50 mail-in rebate. The rebate will be received in the form of a debit card. The Verizon Wireless customers can opt for Unlimited Push to Talk service at $5 per month. The phone is available at the Verizon Wireless website and through Verizon Wireless Communications Stores from March 9.
