Reasearch In Motion releases it’s latest addition to the BlackBerry line-up of smartphones called as Curve 8900 to Australian customers. The smartphone is claimed to be the lightest and slimmest QWERTY BlackBerry phone to hit the market. Already launched in the US, the phone is now available in Australia.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone sports a stylish design with black finish and a sleek chrome frame. A full QWERTY keypad and high resolution display of 480×360 are enabled in the BlackBerry. The Curve 8900 has built-in Wi-Fi and GPS which supports different applications and services depending on the users’ location.

This mobile comprises of an efficient processor of 512MHz which delivers a quick and responsive performance to customers. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 supports an array of applications which allow users to keep in touch with others as well as being entertained. The smartphone consists of a 3.2 megapixel camera with digital zoom that lets consumers shoot excellent quality pictures and videos.
