RIM BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 available through Bell

BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 Phone RIM’s latest BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 is available through Bell, a Canadian Wireless provider, according to Electronista. Bell is the first carrier to offer this phone which replaces the Wi-Fi module with GPS sensors.

This CDMA phone adorns a clamshell design and comes equipped with a 2.4-inch internal display, 320 x 240 resolution, SureType keyboard, a 2 MP camera with flash, zoom and digital recording, 128 MB Flash memory, a microSDHC memory card slot, Media Player and Speakerphone.

The phone sports an external display that lets you view information like email, text messages, phone calls etc. With support for the renowned Blackberry messenger, the new BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 comes with a 900 mAh battery and measures about 101mm x 50mm x 17.5mm and weighs 102g.

The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 phone is priced at just $30 with a three-year contract that includes minimum $45 per month voice and data plan. This offer is valid till March 12. Without this offer the handset (with a two-year term) is priced at $350 while with a one-year contract will cost you $450. Incase you don’t want to opt for any contract then the handset is priced around $500.
