Asus rolls out 16-inch G60 gaming laptop

Asus G50 Gaming Laptop

Asus has launched the G60, a 16-inch gaming laptop, reports Engadget. The attractive paint on the back of this laptop makes it look like some sci-fi movie gadget. At the first glance, the device looks similar to its predecessor, the G50.

The feature that renders the G60 noticeable is its 16-inch widescreen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Moreover, it is powered by the Intel Core2 Quad processor. The 4GB DDR3 RAM and up to 1TB of storage space from the dual hard drives gives it an upper hand over the other laptops.

The GeForce GTX 260M graphics card with 1GB RAM of its own promises to deliver an enhanced performance. The connectivity options of the laptop also include HDMI, SATA, FireWire and four USB connections. It also incorporates Blu-ray drive, 2 megapixel webcam and speakers from Altec Lansing. The Turbo button allows users to overclock the CPU during intense gaming sessions.

The Asus G60 gaming laptop is expected to hit the market this September and will be priced at £1,500 (approx. Rs.1,19,380).
