MSI introduces the GX633 Notebook

MSI GX633 notebookYesterday we reported about the latest MSI GX623 laptop. The company now adds another notebook along those same lines namely the GX633. This magnesium alloy-cased device incorporates nearly the same features as the earlier reported MSI offering. This laptop has a 15.4 inch LCD display screen which allows users to view all their data and pictures with crystal clarity.

The GX633 also sports a flame design on its body like the GX623 model. The aluminum exterior of the device has metallic threads on it representing speed. The aerodynamic touchpad design has a black mirror plate and red linings. The screen has a 16:10 ratio and can display all the gaming and movie images in DVD caliber formats which prove to be a treat for customers. Weighing 2.7kg with battery, this notebook claims to be more portable than other laptops with the same screen size.

The Turbo Drive Engine Technology can be accessed by a simple click of the button above the keyboard. By doing this, the speed of the CPU increases and allows the computer to run effortlessly. With the ECO Engine, the battery running time is extended while carrying out various tasks. To toggle between the 5 different modes in the ECO quick launch, users have to repeatedly press the touch sensor. To go back to the original setting, consumers have to simply touch the ECO OFF button.

To cater to gaming customers, this laptop has colorful W, A, S, D buttons which help players to easily find the directional keys while playing their favorite games. The laptop has integrated Nvidia Geforce GT 130M 3D graphic card with DDR3 512MB VRAM which enables notebook gamers to feel the thrill. With the Vivid LCD technology, even the finest detail can be spotted. It also offers a good gaming experience as the images are represented in a 3D look.

Great sound is achieved with the 3D 360 degrees surround sound, whether from the front speakers or supported through the 7.1 channel output. It also boasts of high Dolby standards which lets users enjoy every bit of their movie, music, games or TV.

Through a single cable, the HDMI output connector allows 5GB/s data transfers and gives high quality transmission of HD digital video and audio up to 1080p resolution. This allows HD enabled devices to be attached to the laptop. The system also supports next-generation hard-drives based on the Serial ATA (SATA) 3GB/s storage.

The notebook also includes a 2.0 megapixel camera, independent numeric keypad, 802.11 b/g/n wireless networking and Bluetooth wireless transmission. The laptop is powered by the latest AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core Mobile Processor. Also found with this device are a Multi-DVD burner, 3-in-1 card reader and Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium operating system with Nvidia MCP77.
