Canon to showcase new super-telephoto zoom lens for EOS SLR cameras

Canon Telephoto Lens With no strings attached, photography professionals constantly feel the pinch for high-quality images accompanied by breakthrough resolution and contrast in order to augment their shooting experience. For this, Canon has decided to display a new super-telephoto zoom lens, the EF 200‐400mm f/4L IS USM Extender 4x, at the 2011 CP+ tradeshow.

Designed to be employed by all EOS SLR cameras, the new solution is being developed as an L-series super-telephoto lens with an embedded 1.4x extender and high performance Image Stabilizer technology. The integrated extender provides the lens with the ability to aggrandize the flexibility factor at the same time.

The above stated assimilation considerably elevates the maximum focal length to 560mm for sports and wildlife photography. Apart from this, Canon’s new lens will feature dust- and water-resistant construction for extended usage under tough conditions.

The prototype of the new lens by Canon will be revealed at this year’s CP+ tradeshow.
